Kate Bedingfield joins Brunswick Group as a Partner

Brunswick expands U.S. public affairs expertise with addition of former White House Communications Director

January 14th, 2025 – Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Kate Bedingfield has joined the firm as a Partner in Washington D.C.  

Bedingfield is a seasoned political and strategic communications advisor with more than 20 years of experience across senior government and corporate roles.

She served as White House Communications Director under President Biden from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, she served as Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director on the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign, where she helped launch President Biden’s campaign in the spring of 2019 and then helped him successfully navigate the Democratic primary and win the election.

Bedingfield has also held senior corporate roles in the sports and entertainment sector, including as Vice President of Communications at both the Motion Picture Association and Monumental Sports & Entertainment – owner of the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals. In 2020 she was named one of Fortune Magazine’s 40 Under 40 most influential people in politics and government.
