Prior to joining Brunswick, Jim was a candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District in 2020 and 2022 and the CEO of a polling and data analytics firm. He was senior vice president of communications at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, a role he was appointed to by President Trump during his first term in office.
Jim’s career in public policy and politics began when he served as economic advisor to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and as policy director for Governor Schwarzenegger’s successful 2006 gubernatorial campaign. Jim was a senior staffer on three presidential campaigns and, from 2009–2018, served as the campaign manager for gubernatorial, senatorial, and ballot initiative campaigns across the country.
Jim also spent a decade advising senior leaders at large corporations on strategic communications, paid media campaigns, and public policy.
Jim earned a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University and a J.D./M.B.A. degree from UCLA.
