Mahabane has advised senior leadership of multinational and South African companies on corporate action, crisis leadership, and communicating value to critical stakeholders.
Over nearly two decades at Bruswick, Mahabane has provided executive-level advice and counsel signature corporate activity in South Africa, guiding South African and international on demonstrating their financial and economic value creation.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Mahabane was a financial journalist writing for prominent South African publications including the Mail and Guardian, Sunday Times, Business Times, Financial Mail, and Business Day. He wrote a political economy column for the latter three publications and has contributed to books on political economy.
Mahabane hold a B.A (Hons) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is Chair of the Board of the Social Justice Initiative, Independent Director of the Institute for Economic Justice and a trustee of the Waterford Kamhlaba Foundation of South Africa.
