Ira Hersh

Ira supports foundation, university, non-profit, and corporate clients to navigate the intersection of social and environmental policy and corporate strategy.

Before joining Brunswick, Ira was Head of Supply Chain ESG Partnership and Strategy and led community and employee engagement for Gap Inc. and the Gap Foundation, a global apparel retailer. He served in multiple overseas assignments with USAID and the U.S. Department of State, leading policy efforts on climate, clean energy, water, gender, and economic development. Ira has led strategy and partnership development for global environmental and international development organizations, including The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International.

He holds an M.A. in Political Science focusing on environmental policy from San Diego State and a B.A. in Political Science from Cal Poly, Pomona.
