Ian Lau

Ian provides trusted counsel to corporate leaders on critical issues, with a particular focus on reputation management, financial situations and crisis.

His experience spans high-profile transactions as a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Group, working with clients across the banking, (re)insurance, asset management and private equity sectors.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Ian worked at a boutique investor relations consultancy, advising small- to mid-cap companies listed on regional stock exchanges across Asia. He began his career in corporate banking at OCBC, managing a portfolio of foreign financial institutions.

Beyond his corporate roles, Ian continues to serve with the Singapore Armed Forces, where he holds the rank of Major (National Service). He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
