Elizabeth Volpe

Elizabeth advises clients on a range of critical business situations, with a focus on complex M&A, shareholder activism and investor engagement. With a background in investment banking, she brings a strong understanding of the investor audience to her work.

While her work spans sectors, Elizabeth has significant experience with financial institutions – and insurance clients, in particular. She has worked on numerous transactions at Brunswick, including AB InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller, Walmart’s acquisition of Flipkart and Nasdaq’s acquisition of Verafin. Her clients have included AIG, Brown Brothers Harriman, The Hartford, Everest Re, PepsiCo and United Airlines.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Elizabeth spent six years as an investment banker in UBS’s Financial Institutions Group. At UBS she advised global life and P&C insurance clients on M&A, shareholder activism and equity and debt offerings. She received a B.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Political Science from Wellesley College.
