Dave is a director in Brunswick’s regulatory and public affairs practice. He advises clients across sectors on reputational communications and advocacy strategies to support their public policy priorities.

Dave has counseled clients appearing before Congress, including conducting murder boards, authoring testimony and advising on media engagement strategies. He regularly consults on strategic messaging and positioning for clients seeking to reach policymakers and shape the narrative surrounding key issues. Dave is experienced at crafting strategies to support the regulatory review and clearance process for cross-border M&A. He has advised on several significant transactions, including Bayer-Monsanto, AB InBev-SABMiller and Nokia-Alcatel-Lucent.

Dave has spent his career at the intersection of law, government and politics. He joined Brunswick in 2014, after three and a half years on Capitol Hill, where he served as majority counsel to U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) on two congressional committees. Before serving as a congressional aide, Dave was a litigation associate at a Seattle law firm. He is admitted to practice law in Washington state.
