Courtney was part of Wilson Sonsini’s executive leadership team for nearly 17 years. She started as the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer in 2002, responsible for building and managing the marketing, communications, and business development functions before expanding into a broader operations and strategy role in 2005.
Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Courtney was Director of Marketing at the technology investment bank, Robertson Stephens, where she oversaw the marketing communications function. Early in her career she was a vice president at a large global communications firm where she primarily advised professional services clients.
Courtney is well positioned to help organizations, boards, and leadership teams realize their most important objectives through clarity of strategy, cultural alignment, development of effective and actionable business plans, and direct communication and change management initiatives. At Brunswick, she advises clients on all areas of strategy, corporate positioning, internal communications, reputation and crisis management, and executive communications.
