He is a trusted advisor to FTSE 100 companies and shareholders across a range of sectors, advising on more than 100 IPOs, rights issues, placings and M&A transactions. Although based in London, he works with clients around the world, including the US, Saudi Arabia and across Europe.
Before joining Brunswick, Charles spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan Cazenove in the UK Equity Capital Markets team. Prior to that, Charles spent 10 years at the Financial Times where his roles included Banking Editor, leading the financial services team in London, and Companies Editor. Before the FT, Charles spent 5 years at the Daily Telegraph, where he was a City Correspondent and US business correspondent. He has also broadcast on television and radio, including the BBC, CNBC and others.
Charles is a trustee of Fulham Reach Boat Club, is a British Rowing umpire and holds the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits.
