Charles is a director in Brunswick’s E&R Practice where he has helped develop the ‘Post-Carbon’ offer. Prior to joining Brunswick, he spent more than a decade in the private sector leading public affairs, corporate communications and media functions for large engineering and planning companies. His speciality is helping corporates shape and influence policy, seek share of voice and gain profile and credibility amongst key audiences. He has worked for Arup, WSP, Smart Energy GB, as well as spending time in Westminster as a policy advisor to the Shadow Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change. He has a double LLB in law and a MA in Diplomacy and Energy Policy from SOAS. His clients have included Harbour Energy, TAQA, NatWest Group, OVO Energy, PwC and Naturgy.
