An England and Wales and EU qualified barrister, Catherine brings over 15 years’ legal practice experience to her role. Before joining Brunswick, Catherine was legal counsel at the Financial Conduct Authority.
As a former regulator and dual qualified barrister with over 15 years legal advisory experience, Catherine investigated and advised on criminal and regulatory misconduct including leading some of the regulator’s most complex, high profile and reputationally contentious matters. She has deep experience in complex financial and multi-jurisdictional investigations and litigation including matters arising out of the 2008 financial crisis, financial crime, market abuse, and whistleblowing.
Catherine specialises in managing reputation around complex corporate & financial investigations, crises and associated litigation. She is adept at advising on reputation management and relationships in the course of internal and external investigations including with regulators and national and international enforcement agencies.
Catherine works closely with multidisciplinary teams including media and digital specialists, lawyers, and other professional advisors to ensure the most favorable outcomes for clients. She remains a door-tenant at 3 Temple Gardens, and is a Member of the Honorable Society of Lincolns Inn.
