Catherine has diverse experience in a wide-variety of sectors, including health care, consumer industries, and technology and media while also leveraging her background in strategic and crisis communications to advise clients on how to expertly navigate rapidly changing news cycles.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Catherine spent several years in government and political communications, serving in Illinois state government as the Deputy Director of Communications and Press Secretary to the former Governor of Illinois. She also served as the Director of Communications for a congressional campaign in Texas and mayoral campaign in Houston. She began her career as a television news producer, working for the number-one news stations in Chicago and Northern California, as well as a station in Mid-Missouri. While in California, Catherine earned an Emmy nomination for her work covering the Northern California tsunami from the 2011 Japanese earthquake.
Catherine is a graduate of the University of Missouri and earned her degree in journalism with an emphasis in TV/Radio.
