Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Cabe Franklin will join as Partner, Client Services on April 4, 2022, based in the New York office.
Cabe has worked in senior communications and strategy roles for more than 25 years. He joins Brunswick from McKinsey & Company where, most recently, he led the firm’s change communications practice group. Previously, he co-led McKinsey’s global internal engagement team, and prior to that was a McKinsey strategy consultant. Earlier in his career, Cabe founded and was CEO of consulting practice Editorial Strategies, led account teams at Ogilvy Public Relations and Porter Novelli, and worked at Harper’s and DCI Magazine.
At Brunswick, Cabe will focus on strengthening the firm’s global client service capabilities.

About Cabe Franklin
Cabe joins Brunswick from McKinsey, where he spent more than 15 years in a range of senior communications and strategy roles, most recently as Global Director of Client Communications. In that role, he established and led McKinsey’s global Client Communications practice, responsible for helping communications teams and leaders engage their organizations to accelerate the impact of business transformations. Before that, he co-led McKinsey’s internal communications function and led communications for McKinsey Design. He started at McKinsey as a strategy consultant, before becoming Senior Engagement Manager, where he led teams delivering business-critical projects for private and publicsector clients.
Earlier in his career, he founded and was CEO of consulting practice Editorial Strategies, and also served in communications roles at venture-backed startups Hero Capital and SF Interactive, and agencies Porter Novelli and Ogilvy Public Relations. His journalism experience includes time at Harper’s and at DCI Magazine.
Cabe received his MBA in Management from Columbia Business School and a BA in English Literature from Amherst College.
