Anja joined Brunswick from Deutsche Telekom AG, where she was Head of the EU Office and Vice President for European Affairs in Brussels, responsible for advising senior executives on a range of EU-related matters and leading communications for regulatory initiatives, digital policy and sustainability issues.

Previously, Anja held senior public affairs and communications roles at Bayer in Brussels and in the corporate headquarters in Leverkusen. Before that, she was a political journalist for almost 15 years, including as a correspondent focused on the EU and NATO in Brussels.

Anja received an MA in English and French from the University of Düsseldorf and a BA in Etudes Franco-Allemandes from Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
