Alastair Morton

Alastair Morton works in Brunswick’s Business & Society team to help companies demonstrate social value – and through that show leadership, underpin license to operate and build trusted relationships.

He joined the Business & Society team from the global advertising agency, JWT, where he founded Ethos in London, which is the social change and corporate social responsibility practice at JWT. At JWT Ethos, Alastair worked with multinational companies, as well as with the public sector and social enterprise to develop the strategic and creative thinking to help them deliver social and environmental – as well as business – impact. He also launched The Future Quotient report, which he co-authored with John Elkington, founder of the social innovation consultancy Volans.

In the Business & Society team, he focusses on social narrative development, designing corporate signature programmes and helping companies to engage proactively on challenging societal issues. He works for clients in sectors as diverse as mining, healthcare, communications, retail, financial services and energy. He holds a BA in Maths and Philosophy and a DPhil in Pure Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
