Yoshi supports Japanese companies operating in global markets in building relationships with key stakeholders. He also assists global companies to develop reputation in the Japanese market.
He has supported critical cross boarder issues for prominent global companies including crisis management, shareholder activism, narrative and reputation building, and international rule making.
Prior to joining Brunswick, he served as a financial attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Washington D.C. where he worked with various stakeholders such as the federal government, lawmakers, think tanks, business community, and trade associations. He also worked in the Ministry of Finance, Japan for almost a decade, and covered a wide range of policy issues including tax policy, macroeconomic analysis, and international finance.
Yoshi received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo and Master of Public Administration from Columbia SIPA. Yoshi is a CFA chartholder.
