Daniel draws on his international experience and two-decade career in prime-time broadcast news to advise clients on a range of business-critical issues including reputation, crisis management, public affairs, geopolitics, and sustainability.

He is a multidisciplinary specialist with an extensive track-record advising companies and institutions on cross-border issues – especially those connecting the U.S., Latin America, and more specifically, Brazil. Daniel has led profile raising and stakeholder campaigns, and managed sensitive reputational matters for a variety of Fortune 500 companies across industries and sectors including Financial Institutions, Healthcare, and Infrastructure.

As a member of Brunswick’s Foundations, Education & Global Health team, he also advises clients in complex issues facing non-profit and higher-education institutions. Since joining Brunswick in 2021, Daniel has supported clients including M.I.T., Rockefeller’s Global Alliance for People and Planet, The Wallace Foundation, Brookfield, Ferguson, Nasdaq, Nubank, ASA, Rappi, and Natura & Co., to name a few.

Daniel was Bureau Chief of Grupo Globo in New York, where he led a team of seasoned correspondents and was nominated twice for an International Emmy Award. He played a key role in Globo’s profound transformation from a traditional media conglomerate to a full spectrum media and technology leader in Latin America. As a journalist, Daniel covered a gamut of topics including five U.S. presidential elections, American foreign policy, the United Nations, large scale armed conflicts, natural disasters, science, and health.

He is bilingual in English and Portuguese, fluent in Spanish and German, and has a BA in English from Lafayette College, and an MBA in Corporate Finance from NYU Stern.
