Dr. Andreas Nick

Andreas is based in Berlin and Frankfurt and advises German and international corporates and foundations on public affairs, regulatory issues and geopolitical issues as well as complex M&A and financial situations.

Andreas joined Brunswick in July 2022 with a dual background in public policy and investment banking. As Member of the German Bundestag from 2013 to 2021, he served on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and from 2018 to 2022 also as Head of the German Delegation and Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

Before his time in politics, he spent more than 15 years in investment banking, including as Head of M&A at Sal. Oppenheim and Head of M&A Germany at UBS.

Andreas Nick holds a Master of International Public Policy (MIPP) from SAIS/Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C as well as business degrees from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar.
