Lwazi advises various clients, mainly in the foundations, education, and global health sector. He assists them in developing and implementing multi-stakeholder communication plans, corporate engagement strategies, and in managing and safeguarding their corporate reputations; this in addition to offering support in handling issues and crises.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Lwazi served as an External Communication Advisor for Deloitte Africa, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s external communication and issues management strategies. His work involved developing comprehensive plans to build and sustain meaningful relationships with stakeholders across the continent.
With more than two decades of experience, he has advised senior business and public sector leaders across industries, helping them position their entities in line with their business strategies. Lwazi has managed high-profile global mandates across Europe and Africa, with a particular focus on the SADC (The Southern African Development Community) region.
Lwazi’s has worked on a diverse range of notable clients. These include South African Tourism; Thebe Investment Corporation and SNG Grant Thornton; South African Breweries, The Mo Ibrahim Foundation, Tiger Brands, and the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. His expertise also extends to various government departments and state-owned enterprises, where he provided strategic support to enhance their public communication efforts.
