Micaela advises on EU political and regulatory issues across a wide range of sectors. In particular, she supports clients on the public affairs and communication dimensions of competition and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, antitrust investigations, State aid, and the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation.

She is a communications expert in regulatory media, helping clients manage complex policy narratives in high-stakes environments. Her recent work includes advising multinational companies on high-profile merger reviews and antitrust investigations, and helping clients navigate complex EU institutional dynamics.

Before joining Brunswick, Micaela worked at a Brussels-based consultancy, advising clients on the public affairs aspects of EU competition cases. She previously practiced as a competition lawyer at Uría Menéndez in Madrid and Brussels, where she was involved in EU merger control proceedings and antitrust investigations, as well as advising European companies on competition compliance programmes. Earlier in her career, she worked at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in Argentina, focusing on corporate and competition law.

Micaela holds an LL.M. in Competition Law from Queen Mary University of London, and was awarded a Chevening Scholarship by the UK Government. She also worked as a research assistant on national security and public interest matters during her time there.
