Julia Barthel

Julia specializes in public and corporate affairs challenges related to the digital economy. She advises on government and regulatory affairs, corporate positioning and crisis management, and is part of Brunswick's global cybersecurity crisis team.

Julia joined Brunswick’s Berlin office in 2016. She has worked on numerous international public affairs mandates, helping clients navigate the complex political, social and media landscape. Her special focus is the tech, media and telecoms (TMT) sector, with clients ranging from global industry leaders to fast-growing startups.

Prior to Brunswick, she worked on digital policy and tech regulation in Washington, DC. A German national, Julia is an alumna from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
