Brunswick Group appoints Meaghan Ramsey and Tom Burns as Managing Partners, UK and Co-Heads of the London Office

Brunswick Group, the strategic advisory firm focused on critical issues, today announced that Meaghan Ramsey and Tom Burns have been appointed as Managing Partners, UK and Co-Heads of the London Office. After seven years as Managing Partner, UK and Head of the London Office, Simon Sporborg will become a Senior Partner focused on client advisory.

About Meaghan Ramsey
Meaghan has extensive experience in advising large and complex organizations on their most critical societal issues. She joined Brunswick in 2016 and is a Partner in the firm’s Business & Society offer. Meaghan is particularly experienced in helping global companies demonstrate leadership through periods of change. She works with companies across sectors and from all regions of the world on issues from climate change to financial inclusion, human rights to access to healthcare, sanitation and education.  

Meaghan joined Brunswick from Unilever, where she led the global social impact work of some of their largest brands. She was nominated for the 2015 Women in Business: Australian Business Woman of the Year in the UK Award in recognition of her work on Corporate Purpose. Meaghan is a trustee of Youth Business International.

About Tom Burns
Tom has been with Brunswick since 2004 and is Co-Lead of the firm’s global Financial Institutions Group. He has advised a wide range of domestic and international companies on high-profile and sensitive situations, including transactions, capital raisings, IPOs, crises and litigation.

Before joining Brunswick, Tom worked in a number of policy and communications roles in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Tom is a trustee of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences (UK Fund).
