Vincent Dufief

Director, Paris

Vincent is a Director at Brunswick’s Paris office, advising clients across a wide range of ESG-related issues, crisis and litigation communication.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Vincent spent a significant part of his career with TotalEnergies (formerly Total), most recently as Vice-President Corporate and Government Affairs in Washington D.C., focusing on ESG, energy transition and international sanctions. He previously was Head of ESG within TotalEnergies, leading the Group’s ESG financial communications and managing its relations with institutional investors on various ESG-related topics, from climate change, ethics and corporate governance to human rights and shareholder activism. He joined TotalEnergies in 2009 as Senior Legal Counsel, in charge of managing major cross-national investigations and litigations, notably related to anti-corruption issues and US FCPA. 

Vincent began his career as a White-Collar and Cybercrime Attorney with several French law firms and with US firm Morgan Lewis. He also served as Assistant Magistrate within the Financial Crime Division of the Paris Court of Appeal and as a reserve Officer for Military Intelligence Command and Navy Chief of Staff.

Vincent is admitted to the Paris Bar and graduated from University of Paris II and University of British Columbia, Vancouver, with Master’s degrees in criminal law and media studies.
