Partner, Film, MerchantCantos

Tim is a Partner at MerchantCantos, overseeing the creative output of the global Film team. He also has special responsibility for Learning and Development.

Tim brings 25 years’ experience advising clients on film strategy, narrative and production, working with senior leaders as a writer and interviewer, and managing creative teams. He has been with MerchantCantos since 2011, helping to take the agency to No1 in Televisual’s Corporate Top 50. His expertise covers brand, employee engagement and sustainability, across a wide range of sectors.

A graduate of Cambridge University, Tim started his career producing documentaries for the BBC arts series Arena. As a freelance corporate writer/director he made films all over the world, going on to become Creative Director at WPP agency, Clever Media, and then joining World Television as an Executive Producer. His work has won more than 50 industry awards.
