Siobhan Xiaohui Zheng

Siobhan is a director in the Hong Kong office where she advises Chinese and international clients on financial communications and investor relations, M&A, strategic corporate profile raising and crisis communications.

Before she joined Brunswick Group Hong Kong Office in April 2008, Siobhan Xiaohui Zheng worked as a business reporter at the South China Morning Post, a metro reporter at the New York Daily News and a producer at the Beijing Bureau of Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Prior to that, she was marketing manager at WSJ.com for Asia Pacific. She has a bachelor’s degree in English linguistics from the University of Shanghai, and master’s degree in economics from the University of Hong Kong.

Based in Brunswick Hong Kong, Siobhan’s clients have included Chinese SOEs and private companies, and leading MNCs ranging from energy, consumer and financial sectors, including TPG, Goldman Sachs, State Grid Corporation of China, China General Nuclear, Dairy Farm, Li Ning. She was involved in the crisis management and proxy battle over Chinese home electrical appliances provider GOME’s chairman’s imprisonment following state’s investigation, and the eventual investment by Bain Capital.  She has supported numerous transactions and fundraising activities by TPG over the past seven years.
