Rebecca has over 10 years of experience in financial regulation and policy making having begun her career working for the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England. She then moved to Brussels and spent 3 years as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission’s Directorate for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA). After that, she took roles at Finance Watch and as Head of European Policy at the City of London Corporation’s EU office, where she ran their Brussels office and liaised with key industry and governmental stakeholders.

Right before joining Brunswick, she was Director of Group Government Relations at Barclays PLC where she led government engagement on a range of issues including prudential regulation, tax and trade.

She is an expert in EU financial services regulation from both an industry and policymaker perspective, and passionate about creating innovative strategy and solutions to drive policy change that allow industry and Governments to mutually benefit.
