Peter Kalotai


Peter is an accomplished government and public relations professional with more than 12 years’ extensive experience in bilateral, multilateral and EU diplomacy. At Brunswick, Peter advises clients on EU institutional and public affairs matters in the areas of energy, competition and M&A and also counsels on Brexit related issues.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Peter served as Hungary’s deputy ambassador in Washington D.C., and his most recent assignments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs include deputy director-general for the Americas and legal advisor in the cabinet of the State Secretary. Between 2007 and 2011 he served at the Hungarian Embassy in London where he was responsible for political, press and public affairs. He also worked for the European Commission as a national expert. He is a Millennium Leadership fellow of the US foreign policy think tank, the Atlantic Council.
