Monica has a proven track record of building and leading communication organizations and driving significant operational results for major corporations in the insurance, hospitality, and finance industries. Working with firm leadership, Monica drives strategic business development efforts with a focus on sustained growth.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Monica served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Executive Officer of Data & Analytic Services at Aon, where she successfully drove short- and long-term objectives to advance the strategic operational and data & analytic priorities for over 20,000 colleagues. In this role, Monica was an empowered extension of the COO/CEO and provided critical support across a full range of work—planning and business management, strategy development, project management, and stakeholder relations—ensuring follow-through, prioritization, and effective coordination of all engagements and work products. Prior to this role, Monica served as Senior Director, Communications and was the executive communication partner and advisor to the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Monica led a global team of 15 trusted senior communications partners ensuring superior stakeholder advisory and support.
Before joining Aon, Monica served as Senior Director, Communications for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management where she advised and partnered with the Dean of Degree Operations on all aspects of delivering an intentional, inclusive and inspirational student experience across all seven degree programs. Monica has also held executive communications roles at Enlivant (a TPG Capital Company) and Hyatt Hotels, in addition to positions at JP Morgan Chase and on the Biden for President (2008) campaign.
Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Dayton and completed the executive education leadership program at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. Monica currently serves on the Corporate Advisory and Development Boards of Cradles to Crayons - Chicago.
