Marc Gilbert is a Director in Brunswick Group’s San Francisco office with deep experience in business journalism, particularly in broadcast television and video.

He focuses on clients within technology, media and telecom, but advises on media issues and strategy across sectors.

Prior to Brunswick, Marc spent a decade at CNBC, most recently as an Executive Producer, overseeing live daily shows and spearheading development of new projects, programming, teams and content. He produced shows such as TechCheck, Squawk on the Street, Closing Bell and The News with Shepard Smith. Marc also developed numerous digital extensions for CNBC brands – including creating and co-hosting CNBC’s first daily original podcast.

Marc has also worked at Bloomberg in the Media Group, where he produced Bloomberg Surveillance on TV and radio, and as an Account Executive at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher. He has a bachelor’s from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a concentration in International Relations.
