Prior to joining Brunswick, Evelyn was a key member of the public affairs practice at Weber Shandwick in Hong Kong. She was responsible for leading the planning and execution of communication strategies to engage industry stakeholders and drive media coverage to advance clients’ business goals. Her clients spanned a wide range of industries, from corporate to government and NGOs, and from transport, education, healthcare to IT and social services.
Over the years, Evelyn has cultivated a strong network of relationships with senior executives and editors of the Hong Kong media. Previously, she was with Link-Work Communications, a boutique public relations consultancy firm in Hong Kong, where she advised business and political leaders and corporate clients on media relations and led stakeholder engagement programs.
In an earlier role, Evelyn worked in the corporate communications team at PCCW to support the company’s high-profile acquisition of Cable & Wireless HKT, formerly The Hong Kong Telephone Company Ltd., in 2000.
Evelyn started her career as a broadcaster and reporter at Radio Free Asia’s Cantonese Service based in Washington DC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oberlin College in the United States.
