Darragh Ooi


Darragh is a sustainability, corporate reputation and crisis specialist focusing on global supply chain issues across a range of industries including forestry, retail, telecommunications and consumer products.

He previously worked for Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) in Indonesia, heading up global communications. He was responsible for the communication of the company's 'zero deforestation' commitments, helping APP to articulate its transition towards becoming a key part of global efforts to tackle climate change.

Darragh is a core member of Brunswick’s Business and Society practice, advising clients on labour issues, environmental best-practice and community activism. He also has substantial crisis communications experience spanning operations, political risk and cybersecurity.

Prior to moving to Asia, much of Darragh’s career was spent at Sainsbury's in the UK, where he launched the company’s ground-breaking £1 billion sustainability plan. He has also worked as a regional news journalist in the Northwest of England.
