Before Brunswick, Cheryl was Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Macy’s, Inc., responsible for the Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury brands. She was a member of the senior leadership team and helped lead the organization’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prior to that, Cheryl was Senior Vice President, Corporate Relations and Chief Communications Officer at Avon Products, Inc., where she also served as President of the Avon Foundation for Women. There, she was responsible for global external, organizational and stakeholder communications, issues management as well as corporate philanthropy and sustainability programmes. Earlier in her career, Cheryl held various communications roles at Visa Inc., including Senior Vice President and Head of Global Stakeholder Communications, before joining Burson-Marsteller, where she was a Managing Director and led the firm’s West Coast corporate practice.
Cheryl is a National Board Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and a lifelong advocate on women’s and children’s health and economic issues. She received a BA in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.
