Catherine Hill


Catherine specializes in international crisis and issues management, corporate reputation and public affairs. She provides strategic counsel and tactical expertise to a range of clients across sectors particularly in energy and resources, manufacturing and consumer industries.

Prior to joining Brunswick’s San Francisco office, she worked in the firm’s Johannesburg and Washington D.C. offices. She has a background in media relations and U.S. domestic and international news production. Catherine graduated from George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs and Political Science.

Catherine’s experience in Johannesburg includes advising AB InBev in their $106bn acquisition of SABMiller and Lonmin on crisis and reputation management. In the U.S., she advised BP during its response to the Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Other clients have included AngloGold Ashanti, Sappi, Whirlpool Corporation and the American Chemistry Council.
