Atusaye Mughogho

Atusaye joined Brunswick in 2013 and brings extensive economic and financial market experience. His focus has predominantly been on African emerging markets including South Africa.

Atusaye advises clients across sectors with a focus on capital markets advisory. In his time at Brunswick he has advised on several M&A transactions including the demerger of South32 from BHP Billiton, Woolworths’ acquisition of David Jones and Sibanye’s acquisition of Stillwater. His clients include Advtech, Imperial, Investec, Liberty, MTN and MTN.

Prior to joining Brunswick, he was a Credit Analyst and Economist at Global Credit Ratings (GCR) where he was responsible for credit ratings for South African and African corporates. In addition, he developed economic views on GCR’s key markets. Atusaye started his career at Standard Bank.  

Atusaye holds Bachelor of Business Science (Economics) and Master of Business Science (Economics) degrees from the University of Cape Town.
