She is particularly skilled in helping clients tell complicated or highly technical narratives in effective ways for various stakeholder groups, whether that be the media, employees or investors. Her experience spans multiple sectors, ranging from technology to retail.
Based in San Francisco, she spent a year on-site at AT&T’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX, supporting its corporate communications team on proactive and reactive media relations, media training, on-site events support for its senior leadership, and issues management support.
Prior to joining Brunswick Group in 2012, Alissa was with FleishmanHillard, where she focused on product communications, media relations, public affairs, and cross-border issues for clients such as Huawei, Visa and Kiva.org. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in literary journalism from the University of California, Irvine and a Master of Science in public relations from Boston University.
