Prior to joining Brunswick, he held senior management positions with Standard Chartered where he managed regional communications for Europe/US and then Middle East South Asia. He developed Standard Chartered's Government Relations and Reputational Risk programmes as well as supporting significant acquisitions in Asia and the Middle East.
Alex has 16 years' experience in the energy industry with Occidental Petroleum, where he managed the company’s response to the Piper Alpha disaster. He went on to be UK Head of External Relations and Marketing for Elf Aquitaine. Alex has an MSc in Public Relations from Stirling University, and an IMC from INSEAD.
