Stuart Hudson


Stuart is a senior adviser on regulatory strategy and corporate communications.

Stuart joined Brunswick in 2010 from the UK Government where he served as Special Adviser to the Prime Minister. He originally qualified in EU competition policy, training with the main UK anti-trust authority and serving as Head of Government Affairs at the energy regulator Ofgem.  Over the years he has held senior policy and strategy roles in a range of election and referendum campaigns.

Today Stuart leads communications projects for corporate clients. He has particular expertise in cross-border M&A, leading teams across multiple jurisdictions and working in sectors including financial services, utilities, industrials and healthcare.

Stuart holds a BA in History and Politics from the University of Oxford; a PGCert in Competition Policy from Oxford Brookes University; and an MSc in Finance from the University of London. He is a trustee of the hospice and neurological care charity Sue Ryder.
