Jason Golz is a Partner in the San Francisco office of the Brunswick Group. He has 15 years of relevant technology, communications and capital market experience and has advised over 50 companies large and small, public and private, domestic and international on corporate reputation matters, investor relations, corporate media relations, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions. Jason developed the firm’s IPO Prep program, designed to prepare private companies for the communication rigors of being public. He has also advised on recent domestic and cross-border transactions, such as Silver Lake’s proposed LBO of Dell, BGI's purchase of Complete Genomics (the first ever Chinese acquisition of a US listed company), Skype’s sale to Microsoft and Intel’s first-of-its-kind investment in ASML. Previously, Jason was a Vice President on the Strategic Communications team at FTI Consulting. He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA with a BA in Business and Economics and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004.
Jason is a member of CFA Institute (CFAI), the CFA Society of San Francisco (CFASF) and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
Jason enjoys backpacking & camping in the Summer, coaching soccer in the Spring and Fall, and telemark skiing in the Winter.
