Jonathan Doorley joins Brunswick Group as Partner in New York

Brunswick further strengthens its global M&A and financial situations capabilities

(New York) September 18, 2017 – Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specializing in critical issues and corporate relations, today announced that Jonathan Doorley has joined the firm as a Partner in its New York office. Jonathan will focus on supporting the firm’s global clients on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder engagement, and other significant financial situations.

Jonathan brings with him a wealth of experience in special situations such as cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, shareholder activism, regulatory investigations, and complex litigation. He will help Brunswick’s corporate clients navigate transactions in an increasingly complex landscape of financial, government and social stakeholders.

About Jonathan Doorley

Jonathan Doorley joins Brunswick after 11 years at Sard Verbinnen & Co, originally in New York and then as Partner and co-head of the London office.

Jonathan has vast experience on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions and has advised a global client base on managing overall positioning and specific business critical events which impact market value and reputation. In both London and New York, he developed and managed corporate positioning programs and thought leadership campaigns for a range of listed and private companies. He also advised major organizations on developing and executing domestic and multi-country media and investor relations programs.

Jonathan previously worked at Morgan Stanley in New York. He holds an M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.A. in history from Wake Forest University.
