David provides insight and data-driven advice on a range of client issues and situations. In Hong Kong since 2011, David founded and leads the firm’s research and insight practice, Brunswick Insight, in Asia. He is an expert in the design and delivery of insight and research solutions that guide communications campaigns and feed into strategic decision making.

Today, David plays a broad role driving some of Brunswick’s largest and most complex, multi-disciplinary engagements spanning crisis and issues management, M&A, corporate governance, corporate reputation, branding and narrative development. He has advised some of Asia’s largest businesses as they take their place on the global stage including Sinopec, Midea, CP Group, CITIC, RGE, WH Group and Pacific Century Group. He has also worked with many multi-national companies as they seek to navigate issues in Asia – including HSBC, Swiss Re, Chevron, Gucci and GSK – as well as some of Hong Kong best-known blue chip companies including Swire, Cathay Pacific and the Link REIT.  

Before joining Brunswick, David worked in political polling in the United Kingdom with Populus and BritainThinks and during this period supported both the British Conservative Party and the Labour Party. David has an MA in Public Opinion and Polling from the University of Essex, which he passed with distinction, having previously gained a BA in Politics & Law.
