Dave is a trusted advisor to Boards and C-Suite executives on corporate and financial communications with a focus on transactions and other complex capital markets initiatives. Since joining Brunswick in 2017, he has played an integral role in the growth and development of the Chicago office, leading a wide range of retained engagements and special projects on behalf of the firm and its clients.

Representative financial transaction highlights include advising: AbbVie on its $55 billion bid for Shire Plc; Albertsons Companies on its proposed $25 billion merger with Kroger; Neogen on its $4.3 billion acquisition of 3M’s Food Safety Business; Meredith Corporation on the sale of its Local Media business to Gray Television for $2.8 billion and subsequent sale to IAC company Dotdash for $2.7 billion; Baxter International on the spin-off of its biopharmaceutical business into Baxalta; The Kellogg Company on the spin-off of its North American cereal business and many initial public offerings. He also has extensive and high-profile experience in investor relations, crisis communications and litigation support. 

Prior to joining Brunswick, Dave held positions of increasing responsibility at global public relations firms owned by Omnicom and WPP. He also worked as a Communications Manager for Getco LLC (now part of Virtu Financial), a global market maker and pioneer in the field of high frequency trading. He serves on the Board of Directors for Bernie’s Book Bank, a non-profit organization focused on increasing youth book ownership in Chicago.
