Dan Roberts to join Brunswick Group as a Partner in London

Brunswick is pleased to announce that Dan Roberts will join the Partnership this summer.

Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specializing in critical issues and corporate relations, today announced that Dan Roberts will join the Partnership in London. Dan joins Brunswick from The Guardian where he was Brexit Policy Editor and before that the newspaper’s Washington Bureau Chief, National Editor and Business Editor.

Prior to his time at The Guardian, Dan was City Editor and later Deputy Editor at The Sunday Telegraph, where he was responsible for all of its business coverage and previously broke a number of M&A scoops as business correspondent on the Daily Telegraph.

He has also worked as Telecoms Correspondent, Industrial Editor, U.S. Business Editor and Lombard columnist for the Financial Times, providing opinion and corporate analysis.

About Dan Roberts

Dan Roberts joins Brunswick from the UK’s Guardian newspaper where he was Brexit Policy Editor. Prior to this, he was the paper’s Washington Bureau Chief, National Editor, and Business Editor. Previously at The Daily Telegraph, he started out as Business Correspondent, rising to City Editor and lastly Deputy Editor of the Sunday Telegraph, where he was part of the senior executive team responsible for transforming the paper from a highly traditional UK newspaper into what was then the largest online news site in the UK. In between stints at the Telegraph, Dan was with the Financial Times, starting out as Telecoms Correspondent before splitting time between the UK, US and China as Industrial Editor. Dan spent three years in New York as US Business Editor before returning to London to write the paper’s daily business column, Lombard.

Dan began his early career in UK regional newspapers writing for The Yorkshire Evening Press and The Birmingham Post, following his diploma in Journalism and his undergraduate degree from University of York, reading Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Dan lives in North London with his wife, two sons and one daughter.
