Brunswick Group, a leading corporate communications partnership, today announced it will be extending its global reach with the appointment of Khozem Merchant to lead its entry into India.
Khozem brings to the firm over thirty years of experience from the media and business sectors, operating at the most senior levels in India and the UK. Most recently, Khozem served as President at Pearson India and was instrumental in shaping and rolling out Pearson’s education services strategy across the country. Prior to this, he spent 19 years with the Financial Times which included 12 years in London and 6 years as the paper’s Mumbai correspondent, before taking on a management role as Director of Business Development. He was a Reuters Fellow at Oxford University.
The move into India comes at a time when many of Brunswick’s clients are looking for senior-level advice around critical business issues in India – and is a natural next step for the group in light of its expanding base of Indian clients that’s it is advising around the world.
