Brunswick strengthens its management capability in Europe
(Paris) 20 November 2017 – Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specialising in critical issues and corporate relations, announced today that Axel Duroux will join the firm as the Senior Partner in Brunswick’s Paris office. Axel joins from Publicis Groupe where he was Executive Vice President, responsible for the strategy and development of the group in emerging markets. Prior to Publicis Groupe, he held senior positions in major French media organisations TF1, RTL and Endemol.
Our previous Senior Partner in Paris, Laurent Perpère, who has played a vital role in building the office, will continue in a role as a Senior Adviser to Brunswick.

About Axel Duroux
Axel Duroux joins Brunswick from Publicis Groupe where he was Executive Vice-President, responsible for Emerging and Fast-Growing Markets until July 2017. Prior to this, Axel was Chief Executive Officer of RTL Radio (France) from 2004 to 2009 and served as Managing Director of TF1 Group (formerly Télévision Française 1) until October 2009. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Endemol Development and Senior Vice President of Endemol France from 2000 to 2004. In Axel’s early career he was a photojournalist, a television news reporter and host, and Director of Press for IBM France.
Axel has been the Chairman of The Supervisory Board at EuroDisney S.C.A. since February 2017 and a Member of the Supervisory Board since 2013. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the INA (French National Audiovisual Institute) and Stereopictures SPK (Korea). He served as a Member of Supervisory Board at M6 (Metropole Television M6) from 2007 to 2009.
Born in Lyon, France, Axel is Swiss-French. He holds a Masters degree in International Law and a PhD in Political Science. Axel also holds a diploma from the French Press Institute. In 2008 Axel was awarded the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France.
