Assheton (Ash) advises on all areas of corporate, financial and M&A communications.

Ash worked in the creative industries for various film and TV commercials production companies before joining Brunswick in 2004.

He has worked extensively in the US, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. During his time at the firm, he spent five years in London before relocating to the UAE in 2009 and then moving to the US in 2014. He has worked across multiple industries and advised a number of the world’s leading organizations including: Diageo, Google, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Rolls-Royce, Thomson Reuters, Time Warner, Saudi Aramco and Southwest Airlines.

Ash has advised on more than 60 high-profile capital market transactions and projects for governments and private sector companies. Notable project clients have included: Air Liquide’s acquisition of Airgas, Altadis in the takeover by British American Tobacco, Corus in the takeover by Tata Steel, Dubai World’s restructuring, Endemol’s IPO on Euronext, Google’s acquisition of YouTube, Qatar Foundation Endowment’s investment in Bharti Airtel, Rosetta Resources in its merger with Noble Energy, Reuters in its merger with Thomson, and TNS in the takeover by WPP.

Ash is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development class of 2014/15.
