Arif Shah


Arif provides strategic counsel to clients on a range of areas including corporate positioning and reputation management, public affairs and market entry issues, and crisis and litigation communications.

In addition to New York, where he is now based, Arif has also worked in Brunswick’s London and Singapore offices, serving as a co-founder of the latter and helping to establish the firm’s presence in Southeast Asia. Before joining Brunswick in 2012, Arif spent four years at the international communications firm Finsbury, which included an 18 month secondment to Business for New Europe, one of the UK’s leading business advocacy groups. Prior to this, he worked at the UK Parliament for a member of the House of Commons and a member of the House of Lords.

Arif is an alumni of Jung Konigswinter and the Apeldoorn Dialogue which bring together current and future leaders from the U.K. and Germany and the U.K. and Netherlands respectively. He is a graduate of Durham University in the UK and Dalhousie University in Canada, where he read international studies and political science respectively.
